The following Gauge 1 locomotives and
coaches were
stolen in a burglary on Friday 9th October 2009 from a home in the South of
England.
1. Aster Kit Built ‘Flying Scotsman’ in BR Green with Double Chimney & Smoke
Deflectors. Aster Build Number 64/88.
2. G1 Model Co., BR 2-6-4 4MT Standard Class Tank Locomotive. Running Number
80151. Number on Boiler 131 and Build Number on the Underside of Frames 031.
Pictures 3 & 4 are of the actual stolen loco. Picture 4 shows Modifications
made.
3. (3 in Number) J&M CIWL Wagon Lits Brass Coaches. All Sleeping Cars, Blue
in Colour with Silver Roofs. (1 in Number) J&M CIWL Wagon Lits
Sleeping Car as above, but with a White Roof and White Overlaid Buffers.

Peter Howland. A compilation of articles on Coaching Stock that have
appeared in the G1MRA Newsletter since 1963. |

Anglian Gauge 1 layout 'Anglia Roads' in the grounds). A visit to the
Swindon STEAM Museum (with the Stonehenge Gauge l layout set up in the
museum) |

Dinner on a steam-hauled train on the Severn Valley Railway.
